Having been a lifelong Seattleite, I have witnessed the amazing growth this city has experienced, and from an early age, I knew I wanted to be part of it. I have always been drawn to construction projects, the art of building, and specifically how people live in their homes or workplace.
After completing school at St. Joseph’s Elementary School, Blanchet High School, and Gonzaga University, I began a 20-year career in the construction industry. I started as a project manager for a high-end custom residential remodeling company learning the intricacies of home construction, and subtleties of effective client interaction and communication. My entrepreneurial spirit eventually led to becoming a small business owner of a successful house flipping business, which then evolved into becoming a General Contractor helping homeowners transform their house into their dream home. I developed a detailed understanding of costs associated with remodeling projects, a keen eye for design possibilities and expansion concepts, and broad-based knowledge of the mechanical aspects related to homes. This knowledge has proven to be key in enlightening clients whether they are making astute decisions contemplating taking on a “fixer” house, making sense of a home inspection report, or considering a kitchen remodel. Each experience of either developing my own investment property or helping homeowner’s ideas become a reality, provided me with a unique understanding of all facets of home ownership.
In 2019, I combined my talents with my wife, Stephanie, who was already nurturing a 14 year career as a very successful residential real estate broker. Our breadth of knowledge in both real estate and construction is incredibly unique in our industry, and sets the stage for our client’s successes. Much of what we do as brokers is reliant upon our connections and relationships within the community and amongst our peers. Given that our careers span both the construction and real estate industries, it has allowed us to build relationships that cover most any referral needed to buy or sell a home. We enjoy connecting clients with our long list of excellent referrals whether it is for home repairs and improvements, title and escrow companies, home and sewer inspectors, and loan officers to name a few. These interactions foster immense purpose and satisfaction, and also help our client's in making sound financial decisions.
In addition to being a real estate broker, I have a variety of other interests as well. My creative side draws me to the occasional acrylic painted canvas creation, some quality time cooking for friends, or a share of shaken scratch cocktails. I also love being outside spending time on and in the water either boating, fishing, or surfing. A perfect day for me would be doing these things with my wife Stephanie, son Jackson(21), daughter Sidney(17), and French bulldog Felix(10).
